In February 2020, all eyes will be on Miami for Super Bowl LIV. There are a number of ways to take part and support Miami’s big game but one of the most rewarding ways to feel the excitement of Super Bowl LIV is to volunteer.
We will be recruiting up to 10,000 volunteers to be a central part of the team. Volunteers will become the face of Miami as we host more than 1 million visitors. The Host Committee is looking for outgoing, friendly people who are passionate about football, the Miami region, and can commit to 3 or more shifts during Super Bowl LIV week.Sign Up Contact
About Super Bowl LIV BUSINESS CONNECT
Business Connect is the NFL’s special event supplier diversity and inclusion program. The Business Connect team works proactively to create opportunities for experienced, qualified and certified business owners from local, diverse communities to compete for contracting opportunities related to NFL signature events while encouraging NFL contractors, partners and primary suppliers to source products and services from these previously underused suppliers.
In South Florida, our goal is to curate a robust list of 300+ event-ready businesses in 35 business lines to work with Super Bowl event producers. These businesses will be designated ‘approved’ vendors and will be added to the NFL Super Bowl Business Connect Resource Guide of certified businesses ready to compete for contracting opportunities.
The Business Connect program also offers networking, educational and business development opportunities to encourage greater business success for each participant, including a Playbook Workshop series to help vendors prepare for participation in the Super Bowl bidding process and a three session professional development workshop series focused on new business strategies that help businesses to enhance and manage company growth.
Businesses approved for inclusion in the Business Connect Resource Guide must meet five key criteria:
- Business Connect vendors must be MBE, WBE, DVBE or LGBTBE certified
- Business must be local with an established office in Miami or within its designated Super Bowl coverage area as outlined by the Super Bowl Host Committee
- Vendor goods and services must match the approved vendor categories of requested services
- Company must be 51% minority, woman, LGBT or veteran-owned
- Business must have been in operation for three years or more
